What happens in your 30-minute session?
All you need to do is walk or run at a steady pace for around 60 seconds on a treadmill, wearing close-fitting clothing.
Depth-perception cameras capture your movement from your silhouette during 30-second trials.
Walking analysis is displayed in real time as a skeletal model, highlighting asymmetries, joint loading and propulsion patterns. These can be compared across conditions such as barefoot, socks, shoes with original insoles, and shoes with orthotics.
Running analysis is shown across multiple screens, covering running style, energy efficiency and key metrics including foot strike, cadence, overstride and shank angle.
Clear graphics make comparisons easy, supported by expert explanation of the biomechanical causes — whether technique, footwear, structural issues or compensations.
For each 30-second trial, you’ll receive your results by email, including a clear interpretation.

The value of bespoke orthotic insoles
The guiding principle behind the value of bespoke orthotic insoles is that our feet were never designed to walk on hard flat surfaces, yet that is what we all do most of the time, and it takes its toll on our feet, sooner or later. Bespoke orthotic insoles can provide the environment our feet really need for correct function, inside our shoes!
Nature designed our feet to walk barefoot on yielding, textured surfaces into which they sink enough to be contacted by the surface over the entire sole of the foot. This gives sensory feedback under the arch area which provides a complete information data set to our brain. The brain then responds by deploying the muscles designed to control the arch of the foot and to orientate it correctly so the foot is stabilised and force can be efficiently transmitted through it.
Problems helped by bespoke orthotic insoles
When feet lack stability or pressure is unevenly distributed, a wide range of issues can develop, including:
- Corns and calluses
- Curled toes and bunions
- Thickened or ingrowing toenails
Poor foot alignment and instability can also contribute to problems higher up the body, including pain in the knees, hips and lower back.
